Selecting a role.

PARENTS/FANS: If you are not a current track and field athlete, but you have kids who are competing, or you are just a fan of the sport, you may create an account as a PARENT/FAN.  The app uses a data base of current track and field athletes who are registered in competitions and teams. If you are not actively competing, you will not be able to register as an athlete.

COACHES:  If you are a current track and field coach, you may sign up as a COACH.  Upon signing up you will have the ability to find you school/team.

ATHLETES:  If you are a current (2017- ) track and field athlete, you may sign up as an ATHLETE.

You may find yourself using your name, school, and state.  Several results may show up under your name as there are certain instances where you may have run under different affiliations (your high school, your club, unattached, or your country).

You should click on all of them so that they may all link to your profile under your name instead of several affiliations.

Can’t find your name or school?

If you have difficulty finding your school, team, or athletes it could be a spelling error or a diction error.

For some names, a lot of schools who have children with apostrophes in their names cannot be found unless you type in the name without the apostrophe, as a lot of the official results neglected to spell the name correctly.

If you have correctly done all of these things but you are still receiving error messages, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us through the app.

Features

 Profile

This is where an athlete sees his/her personal and seasons bests, and well as their rating.  Your rating is a combination of your performances, workouts, consistency, and improvement.  This is used to show you the areas where you are doing well and the areas that needs improvement.  It can also show you the areas where your competition is performing the best to give you an idea of how to improve upon your game.

Rankings

With rankings, you are able to see how you are ranked based on your age group, state, nation, or in the world for your events.

Progression

The progression feature is used to show you how you are trending from meet to meet, year to year.  This helps you understand how consistent you are, and what part of the season you seem to perform at your best.

Workouts

The workouts feature is designed for COACHES and ATHLETES to share and complete workouts.

It’s also a log to show you how well you are responding to certain workouts, and also allows you to see which workouts seem to correlate with your top performances in certain events.

This allows COACHES and ATHLETES to have a better idea of the type of workouts their athletes are responding to well, and which workouts they are not responding to well.

Logging in workouts and your times is one of the most important features of the app because it allows the app to use artificial intelligence to get to know each athlete individually.  After the app collects enough data, it can help guide the athlete to better performances.
